AMG Access Expired

A month ago I had installed the trial version of dMC reference (v12.2). I liked it so last week (9/8) I purchased it (v12.3). I did a full uninstall (via Add/Remove Programs) of the trial program and all codecs and then installed the registered version and many codecs. Now (starting today) when I start dMC (or explicitly run the Configuration dialog) it tells me "All Media Guide: Access Expired (using freedb)". If I click on the "[Renew Access]" link I get taken to a web page that will allow me to purchase AMG for $5, but one year of AMG access was supposed to be included with my purchase of dMC reference.

How do I re-register AMG?

There was a download link in the original email for AMG, AMG should not be uninstalled as it will deactivate it.
