Hi,
Do I need to uninstall dMC version 7a before installing v.9a?

Does v.9a convert to 24bps (v.7a's lowest was 32bps)?

I would uninstall first.

32Kbps is the current lowest - if anyone can verify that it should go lower in Lame then I will make the req changes.

Thanks for your reply. The reason I'm wanting 24Kbps is that the music site Artistlaunch specifically want 24kbps, 22050hz, mono mp3's to use for LoFi plays. This is so specific because they will use LoFi mp3's for their Radio stations and such. Also I believe that modem users have better results streaming 24kbps.

If you will make this change and add 24kbps converts I'd really appreciate it and I'll wait till you create such a version before updating. Please let me know.

Hi Folks,
I first changed the Hz to 22050Hz and Mono and now I can convert to a 24kbp rate. I didn't know this and spend ages trying and I hope this info helps others who don't know.
