Sound problems

Whenver i convert the cd tracks to my HDD, then play them back in windows media player or Open MgJukebox the sound is patchy and it sounds almost as if the speakers are partly blown. however this is not the case as non ripped songs work fine. the songs are running at 192KBps when converted so not low quality either!

If any one could please help me i would appreciate it.

Try converting the CD to just wave files - see what they play like, then try converting those wave files to mp3 and see again.

I am guessing it is your CD drive.
