Need Help Converting from MP3 to WAV and registering

Hi, all. I hope I'm doing this right. I've used dbpoweramp for years and did register version 9 I believe it was. Recently I bought a new computer with
Windows Vista. I had to upgrade to version 12. Do I have to pay for this program again because I can't get into the registration page. I've disabled the firewall, added dbpoweramp to my trusted sites. Windows Explorer just restarts on me every time I try and access the page. That's the first problem.

On to the second problem. I have a music group on the internet and we share music wavs. I've always used the settings...convert to wav.... mpeg layer 3....16kbps,16khz,mono 1kb/sec. This makes the wav small enough to share through Yahoo groups.
Well that setting is no longer available. I have uninstalled the program, reinstalled it a gazillion times...downloaded all kinds of codecs... I have
been at this for two weeks and I don't mean to sound overly dramatic but
it's driving me crazy!!!! If any one can help me I would be ever so grateful.

    My email addy is gemmie@comcast.net

    Thank you.

If you send an e-mail to the address on this page: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/email.htm with your order number, if you have it, or your name and e-mail address (manual searches will be done for orders under two years old), a manual download link will be sent out. And no, you don't have to pay again for the PowerPack, as you get lifetime upgrades.

Did you try a WAV-mp3? I believe it is the same thing, just under a different name.

Re: Need Help Converting from MP3 to WAV and registering

Hi thanks for your help, really appreciate it. I have used the other setting..Wav-MP3, it converts. I can hear it playing when I attach the song to an email...but once it's sent, there's no sound. I know it's not a problem with my email because music I converted previously with the older version of dbpoweramp, I can attach it, send it and the sound stays. I can also convert using the GMS.610 and send it through group sound intact. But the sound is horrible. I guess my question is why can't I get the lower settings through the Mpeg Layer 3 that I always used before. Please keep in mind I'm not a very hi-tech person.... I only use the dbpower amp to do simple conversions.

      Thank you again for helping.

It wouldn't work. The zip file opened but the install wouldn't...it said
unknown windows file format, I did a search for it but couldn't find anything that would allow me to open it or run it. This thing is driving me nutz...I have people from here to Australia trying to figure it out. Every one in my music group is able to use the poweramp and my older version worked just fine. But Windows Vista won't let me run the older version.

You tried to right-click on the LameACM.inf file and selecting "Install", correct?
