WMA PRO 10 v4 error

Good evening

Before installing the last version of DBpower AMP r12.3 and last codec WMA 10 pro v4, my Archos 605 wifi read very well the files in WMA 10 pro v1 make with DBPower Amp r12.1.

After having tested with new DBpower AMP r12.3 and the codec Wma 10 Pro v4, the 605 Wifi say “ WMA Pro” format not recognized. !!!

I gave old the codecs! Similar! Whereas it read it front!!!

I gave old DBpower Amp r12.1 AND old codec WMA 10 Pro v1… and well now it does not want to read the files made like that any more! Whereas all my CD collection was made like that and passes without Pb on the 605 Wifi!!!

There, I do not iunderstand anything any more… Why the new files made under the same conditions are illegible on the Archos 605???
What could I well change by installing the new versions of software and codec, then while giving the old ones???

It is likely the WMA system codecs have updated, Microsoft have made it so that the system codecs cannot be rolled back to earlier versions. Try askin archos if they have a fix (the files will play fine in Windows Media Player).
