Converting .ra

I don't want to have Real Media Player installed but I want to be able to use dBpowerAMP Music Converter to convert real media files to .mp3.

Why isn't this possible? I mean, why do I have to have Real installed in order to convert the file format?

Part of the License agreement with RealNetworks, I had to agree not to give out their system librarys, the only way to get them is to install RealPlayer.
