Conversion of mp3d

I purchased a ringtone that was downloaded to my cell phone as a mp3d file. I tried to transfer the file to my new phone, but the new phone says the file type is not supported.

I own dpPoweramp Reference, but don't see any codecs available for mp3d. Any ideas on how to convert the mp3d file to a regular mp3 or wav or similar?

Never heard of mp3d, perhaps a protected mp3 format?

It very well may be a protected file since I purchased it over my phone from Cingular. I've only purchased 3 or 4 ringtones and doubt I ever will again. It's a sad state of affairs that we pay $2.50 for a 10 second excerpt of a song and not have the ability to transfer it to an upgraded phone. :sad:
