coreconverter.exe crash
Hi all--
I'm having an issue with coreconverter.exe crashing while doing a batch file convert WMA->MP3 using LAME. Crashes appear to be random, not related to specific files or batch size. After the crash, it looks like there is another instance of coreconverter running but encoding is switched to FHG (Guess), so it looks like some issue with the LAME codec?
This problem occurs with 12.1 and 12.2, and I've done a full uninstall and reinstall including removing registry entries and codecs. Strange thing is I have been using the dMC for months without any problem, but now I can't get this issue to go away. No new software has been installed on the PC, which is running WinXP Pro SP2.
I've seen other threads about problems with FLAC and coreconverter crashes, but not MP3(LAME.)
Has anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts would be appreciated....
