CD Ripper not reading CD-Text

I'm evaluating version 12.2 for ripping a number of CDs. The CD ripper is not detecting the track or album information from CD text. I know the information is on the discs because EAC is able to read it correctly.

Anyone have any idea why CD ripper is not reading the CD text?

Click the arrow beside the meta button, is "CD-Text" checked? If it is checked, your CD drive might not be reading the information properly.

could you please tell exactly which menu has the CD-text option. I am using mac version.
