I have previously ripped my CD collection using WMP11 into WMA_Lossless. I think WMP11 automatically adds volume levling data to the TAG.
I have since had to convert the WMA_Lossless into WMA9.2_Lossy (as I have a SONOS system which does not support WMA_Lossless).
If I am right, dbPowerAmp shows the volume leveling TAG data is present in the WMA_Lossless files by using the phrase "Normalization Values".
However, this is NOT shown for the WMA9.2_Lossy files?
What I would like to know is:
1) How do I know if my WMA file definately has the "volume levelling" TAG present? [I think it's called "WM/WMADRCAverageReference"]
2) How can I edit/delete the value? I want to experiment as to whether it makes a difference on my SONOS system.
3) Why does the data appear to be deleted when going from WMA_Lossless to WMA_Lossy?
