Please help!

I am new to this site and new to the software. I have tried to read the information and I am pretty good with computers but I am having difficulty understanding. I am usually good at this kind of stuff but I feel like I am banging my head against a wall. LOL

I would like to take my MP3s and convert them to my ringtones. Does anyone have any simple information or directions to help me? Because once I get it, I will be fine but it all appears very confusing to me. I already downloaded the directions but they do not see simple to me and there is not one direct guide that tells me what to do point blank. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to find out what format your phone requires ringtones to be in, as every phone is different. Do the instructions say what format to convert to? Or what software to use?
