    Edit Tag menu item?

    First problem.
I am unable to get the menu selection "Edit Tag" to show up in
    the right-click menu....

In the dMC configuration, dBpoweramp settings the item has a checkmark
showing on-screen but "Edit Tag" is not present.

    Second problem.
I did have aversion of the new release 12 loaded but its been removed.
Now when i try to run the dBpoweramp configuration, it says it can't find the
    the dBconfig.exe file.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    clif

So you did have r12 but you moved back to r11.5? Remember that dMC r11.5 and older used "dMC Configuration" not dBpoweramp Configuration.

As for the edit-tag, try unchecking the box to enable the setting, rebooting, check it back, then reboot again. Does it work now?

      LtData,

      Thanks for feedback!

Yes, i remember the dMC Configuration. I tried as you suggested but had
no luck. Even did a power down/power up with the switches set to off then
set to on. Again, no joy.

Having installed v12 and un-installed it, could (would) that have changed
      the switch settings?

Not sure what to try next.... Open for additional suggestions.

      Thanks again,

To get dMC Configuration back, make a shortcut to MusicConverter.exe, put quotes around the path, then add <config> to the end.

          Re: Edit Tag menu item?

          Used
"E:\dbPower\dBpowerAMP\MusicConverter.exe" config as a path and did the reboots but didn't get the edit tag menu item to show.

          I noticed that Start>All Programs>dbPowerAMP Music Converter>Configuration>
has a third option of "dBpowerAMP Configuration" that points
to "E:\dBpower12\dBpowerAMP". Of course when i click it, it tries to find
dbconfig.exe which is not there anymore.

Is there a dbconfig file for rel 11?

          I'm confused here,

            Got It!

I had to re-install ver 11 (registered), and the settings came back.
Then i re-installed ver 11.5 and its still there.

            Thanks for the assist,

PS: I'll upgrade to rel 12 when all the fixes/components are in.

              Re: Edit Tag menu item?

For the record, the dMC r11.5 and earlier configuration are only accessed via the method I mentioned above about putting <config> after the MusicConverter.exe path. In dMC r12 and newer it is now a separate exe.

                That would explain the problem.
When i installed R12, it updated the config (even tho R12 was installed to
a different (new) folder) and when i removed R12, the config didnt get
                reverted back to R11.5

Anyway, problem is solved now. I'll look at the path to insure that the
                "config" is present.

                Again, appreciate your time,

                  Re: Edit Tag menu item?

I have both r11.5 and r12 installed (r12 first, then r11.5, then r12.3 upgrade to r12) and I have both "dMC Configuration" and "dBpoweramp Configuration" in the Configuration folder.
