    Installing 12.2 Reference

Okay - Did i screw up by just downloading the 12.2 Reference, installing and choosing to delete the old version before installing the new version?

If so, what are my options?

    Thanks,
    chford

Re-issue registered version of dBpowerAMP can be downloaded from this page:

(clicking the above link from your email program might not open the link, copy and paste it into the title bar).

Enter your Order reference / receipt number when asked, a download link is presented under this link is a user name and password, it is required when the download link is clicked. An 'Overview of Process' guide which shows how to download can also be found on the registration page given above.

      Thanks Spoon.

One question - was this page (http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/registration) inoperable Friday evening 2300hrs (GMT-5)? I tried to access it and even disabled all my security software (after having sat with McAfee Support for 45 minutes!) and I kept getting the following:
      ***START
This program cannot display the webpage

      Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
      The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
      ***FINISH

I can provide (not in the forum!) my registration information as needed.
      Thanks,
      Chad

Stuggled with McAfee Tech support for 1/2 hour trying to find a way to shut it down...then the brain-fart cleared on my end and I went to Services and shut them all down.

          It worked fine after that.

          Thanks All.

I added a comment in the FAQ post regarding problems downloading new registered copies and about possibly needing to shut down services.
