CoreConverter Error with 24/96 m4a to FLAC

My ultimate goal is to convert 24/96 AIFF files to both FLAC and m4a at the same bit rate/sampling frequency. Since there is no AIFF  codec for DMC 12 I converted the AIFF files to m4a using ITunes. I am then trying to convert the m4a to FLAC but am getting a CoreConverter.exe error, DMC is crashing with a m4a.dll error?

    Any help would be appreciated...

You converted to normal m4a files or ALAC files? If you do a "Test Conversion" on these files, does dMC still crash?

The selection I had in ITunes was Apple Lossless and the file extension it saved was m4a. Not sure if that answers your question.

After a little more checking, it would appear that ITunes is converting the AIFF file to 24/44.1 m4a, at least that is what the DBPowerAmp detail is telling me.

Any idea if dMC 12 will have AIFF functionality soon?

      Regards

So I can get the 24/96 FLAC file from Audacity. Can DMC12 convert 24/96 FLAC to M4a or is my itunes library constrained to using the AIFF format for 24/96?

Have you tried the AIFF codec which is in beta?
