Upgraded from 11.5 to 12.2 and lost registration

I bought a "Power Pack & Mp3 Encoder License" and installed the v11.5 version of the software that I downloaded. All was well. Today, I needed to install the FLAC codec so I opted to upgrade to 12.2 so I used the "Registered Link Retrieval" page to get what I thought would be a registered version of 12.2 but when I installed what I downloaded, I found that I was no longer registered, with it saying that I had 29 days of evaluation time left :(

I've tried uninstalling v11.5 before installing 12.2, I've tried opting to uninstall the old version during the install of the new one and I've tried opting to leave the old version alone while installing the new and none of them make any difference, I still loose my registered status.

Can you tell me what's going on?

If you downloaded the registered version for R12.2 it would say you have 29 dys left for the AMG license, which is the meta data access.

Remember, if you want to keep AMG access, its $5 for one additional year of access.

So, if I have a registered version of dMC, and whenever I install a new version on top of it, I should "not" uninstall the old version, and just install the new one on top of it. Right? Also, per your website, isn't 365-days AMG license a part of powerpack+mp3 pack? If yes, please tell how I can install the AMG license, since I purchased the registered version of dMC last month. Thanks.

AMG registration link is within the registration email.

Use this page to upgrade and it makes no difference if you uninstal:

Re-issue registered version of dBpowerAMP can be downloaded from this page:

(clicking the above link from your email program might not open the link, copy and paste it into the title bar).

Enter your Order reference / receipt number when asked, a download link is presented under this link is a user name and password, it is required when the download link is clicked. An 'Overview of Process' guide which shows how to download can also be found on the registration page given above.
