    Registration used too many times

I am a registered used of dmc with powerpack and CDwriter since 2004. I attempted to install dmc R12.2 last night following the legacy instructions. I encountered some problems and it all became a bit of a messy(my own ignorance, i'm sure). During the process I used my registration several times. I finally gave up. This morning I deleted all dBpowerAMP products from my hard drive so I could start fresh with dmcR11.5 and CDWriter. When I enter my registration number I am prompted to enter the string. When I do I receive a message stating " I have used my registration too many times this week, try again next week. Today is one of the rare times I can sit and play with this. Is it possible to bypass this situation?

Thanks in advance for your assistance

Yes, it's just today was a very convenient time for me to play with this and I wanted to rip a few CD's but now I have un-installed all programs. It's cool, I'll wait until next Saturday.

P.S Great products!, Great support! Thanx again

Wow I can't believe that question was actually asked of a customer.

Man, maybe I'm wrong, but wow.

A legitimate customer should not be expected or asked to wait a week to access software that was paid for.

Whatever anti-abuse policy/implentation you got on your links, should have a much smoother restriction...

you know, more like a couple hours the first time, a day maybe for the 2nd, maybe increase 1-2 days or require an request via the contact form after subsequent problems.

It is a simple fact of there only being one me, some working days I do 0 hours of programming, when I should be programming, which is a diss-service to CD Writer people (the guy above) who has no R12 compatible version...

BTW I spend more time on customer service than development, if this forum, or emails did not exist, I would have 4x as much time to write code.

I have been wanting to say this so many times over the last three years but refrained from doing so, just because, but now is the time. Although I appreciate the fact that Teknojnky seems to be concerned with my dilemma I can no long sit and read posts that rip, jab, and poke illustrate, Spoon, dBpowerAMP or the way the business is handled.
I am an engineer and I work in the technical support field so I completely understand customer satisfaction. Has anyone ever tried to get useful technical support from say Musicmatch, Nero, or how about Microsoft in a timely manner let alone for free! How about the price on dBpowerAMP! or what it does compared to all the others.
I continually read posts that are arrogant and disrespectful to a company and a guy who has an excellent product and excellent support.
To Spoon and all the people who monitor these 1000's of posts and offer accurate, very timely support , Thanx
Since 2004 (when I joined) all support replies I read are professional (regardless of the tone of the person with the problem) and I have never seen a post where the problem is not resolved. People wake up! dBpowerAMP, Spoon and all involved are First class!
Thanx for letting me vent. It will not happen again.
