    Using another CDDB

Using both dppoweramp and musicmatch (I am leaving the latter and sticking with the former, for I usually rip to ogg), I noticed that some cd's are recorded in freedb and not in gracenote and viceversa, so some cd are recognized by musicmatch but not dbpoweramp or viceversa.

My question is: can I use other cddb than freedb? I tried to use gracenote editing the address field in the ripping options, but did not work.

Are there others cddb one can use whenever a cd is not recognized, to try a better luck?

This could also be a suggestion for a future feature: a secondary cddb server to query whenever the first one does not contain the id of the cd.

Thank you for your attention. If you could be so kind to post a copiy of your replies to wiren at libero.it ... I would appreciate very much - thanks again.

To use the gracenote one, you have to pay subscription, and also sign a legal document saying you will not use freedb, I cannot see dAP using it.

        No such thing.

If your disc is not there, do freedb a favour and submit it.
