Codec Installation Problem

When trying to install a codec, the Installation seems to succed, bot at the end of the installation, a Message

'An error has occured while running MusicConverter.exe'

occurs and the program crashes. I've tried it wirth the following Plugins:
- Ogg Vorbis
- Monkey Audio
- mp2

System:
Windows 2000 SP2, german
Acer TravelMate 529TX

Can anybody help me?

Re-install DMC to the default directory

Good point - you also need dBpowerAMP Music Converter installed.
