    Missing Progress Bar

It was there and now it's gone. I've been using dbpower amp music convertor 12 very successfully for a little while now but suddenly the progress bar has disappeared. I still get an indication of what is happening in the task bar but that's it. I've reinstalled the program but with no change.

    Can anyone help please

    Regards BG

            Hi Spoon,

Sorry there is no screen to give you a shot of:-

After I have selected the tracks I want to convert I get the panel which shows the dbpoweramp convertor where you can select the the type of conversion (mp3,wav, etc), the 'folder location' and any 'DSPs', then when I click on 'convert' the progress panel does not appear (not just the bar, the whole panel), so I have a blank screen. However, the coverstion is takes place and the percentage progress can be seen in the task bar - clicking on the application, in the task bar, does not restore the panel as would normally be the case.

Hope this is clear and thanks for your interest,

            Regards BG

The page should atleast be grey, windows is drawing that part. Are you running any UI enhancement programs?

                Hi Spoon,

No, nothing just the normal windows screen with my icons on it. I'm not sure what UI enhancements are so I don't think I'm running any. As I said in my first post, it was running properly and then I selected another set of tracks for convertion, hit the convert button and it didn't appear and hasn't done since.

By UI enhancements I think Spoon means software like Windowblinds or StyleXP - software that allows you to change the look of windows.

                    Hi Wayne and Spoon,

Thanks for that, and no i'm not running anything like that. However, I've got it working again although it was a bit tedious. I had reinstalled the program but it had made no difference. This time I uninstalled it and then removed all traces of it from 'program files', 'documents & settings' and the 'registry'. And after installing it again it worked properly - I suspect a registry value got changed/corrupted or something like that. Anyway, all's well that ends well.

And thanks very much for all your help,

                    Regards BG
