Album Art Specs

I produce my own podcasts and use dBpowerAMP for converting to release formats and ID tagging.

I would like to start adding my own album art to each podcast. Can anyone recommend suitable formats (file type, file size, number of pixels, etc.), or point me to somewhere in these forums, or elsewhere on the internet, where I can find out this info?

I think the dMC album art is, by default, a 150x150 JPEG, 24-bit 300dpi file.
