upgrade to 12.2 and registration lost

I upgraded from Reference version 12.1 to 12.2. I have lost profiles (grayed out).

I checked the configuration. It shows:

    dBpoweramp Music Converter
    Release 12.2
    Registration Status
mp3 License & Power Pack: Registered
All Media Guide: 334 Days Access Remaining

Should I back up to 12.1, or did I do something wrong??

    Thanks,

You apparently installed the PowerPack version, not the Reference version. Did you use the Registered link retrieval link to get a new registered installer?

I clicked on "check for updates" on the dbPoweramp configuration page, and downloaded what it pointed to. The module was named "dMC-r12.2.exe"

The installer asked if I wanted to uninstall the old version first, and I clicked on "no".

Where, exactly, is the Registered link retrieval link where the correct new version is located?? I presume I download that, install over what I have currently, and I'm good??

      thanks,

Note that the main dMC link on the page you are taken to by the upgrade button only includes the PowerPack and mp3 encoder. You need to download the Reference trial and see if installing that, again WITHOUT uninstalling the current version, will give you back your Reference status. If it does not, see here for the Registered Link Retrieval: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/registration/

I used the "registered link retrieval", problem seems solved.

          Thanks,

            Same problem here.
I have registered the DBPoweramp 12.1 reference.
Upgrading to 12.2 following the guides made me loose the registration.

Used the Registered Link Retrieval. This gave me a registered 12.2 application to install.
But it is not the reference software!. E.g. no Fraunhofer encoder.

            Now what?

Did you download the Reference Registered installer or the PowerPack installer?

If you purchased a Power Pack to Reference upgrade, you need to use the order number from the upgrade, not your original power pack order number.

Re: upgrade to 12.2 and registration lost

I have bought anew licence, not an upgrade.
Using the link I got two files: dMC-r12.2-Registered and dMC-R12.2-Ref-Registered. I installed the last mentioned.
But it does not install the ref version!

Uninstall all dbpoweramp, reboot and install the -Ref-Registered

I have done that, of course.
Are you sure you have given me the right file?

Please email dMC-R12.2-Ref-Registered you have downloaded to:

                        I will check it out.
