Hello. I am using dBpower amp 12.2 now but I continue to get this message that CoreConverter.exe has encountered a problem. I am only converting about a CD's worth at a time (15 or so songs) from MP3 Lame to Org Vorbis. I have an Athlon Palomino 1900+ with 1 gig memory running WinXP Pro updated. Motherboard MSI K7T266. Must be something about this motherboard because I'm not having any problems with it in 2 other computers I am using. Any ideas? thanks

Re: CoreCoverter.exe has encountered a problem
I was using the normal Ogg Vorbis. It will eventually convert it but the message keeps coming up and it will continue to convert; it will display the message several times before it is done. But I cannot even get it to do mp3 lame. When I do MP3 lame, I was getting the message: A problem has been deteced & windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer, Driver_IRQL_NOT_Less_or_EQUAL. So I must be having some kind of kind of hardware problem. I have been having problems with it offf and on. I thought I got it working. It has been working normally, except with dBpower Amp for the most part.Originally posted by LtDataWhat codec are you using? If you are trying to use the aoTuV encoder, your CPU does not support SSE2, which the encoder requires. Can you use the normal Ogg Vorbis encoder?Last edited by rayi23; June 22, 2007, 10:34 PM.Comment

Re: CoreCoverter.exe has encountered a problem
The DRIVER_IRQ problem normally means some of your devices are conflicting. A quick google search should help you solve that problem. Once you solve that problem, see if you can convert to mp3 and Ogg Vorbis. If you can't, we will further investigate the problem.Comment

Try a program such as prime95 to test your system.Comment
