    settings in multiple copies

I have 3 CD drives, so I run 3 copies of dBpowerAMP, and simultaneously rip three CDs at a time.

Works fine, except for a problem. When one of the 3 isn't in the Accurate rip database, or is giving errors on the rip, I change the mode on that copy from burst to secure.

However, this changes the mode on all three copies

What I expected is that the mode is drive or CD specific.

Any way to get this to work?

Why don't you just leave it on secure?

If a disc is in accurate rip, it will burst first and if it matches accurate rip then that track is done in one pass.

It is only when you don't match or the disc/track is not in accurate rip that secure rip will use multipass according to the secure settings.

You would have to create multiple profiles and change it that way (one profile secure, one burst).

        Thanks -

Is the "always use secure" (as mentioned above your post) a good strategy??

Yes, always using secure mode is what I do on my desktop, that way I either have a AR-verified rip or a secure rip.
