    replay gain and iPods?

    Two questions -

--With existing mp3 files, how can I use the batch converter to only do a replay gain analysis, but no coding/transcoding/converting etc... I don't seem to see a setting for that.

-- Is the resulting tag usable in an iPod? Any way to make it so?? I don't use iTunes, but sync with MediaMonkey. If I understand correctly (which is now rarely true the two of them use different tags for volume leveling information, meaning that the MM leveling information is ignored.

    Thanks

    Install the [ReplayGain] utility codec

iTunes has its own replaygain tags, so will not use replaygain.
