Flac and mp3 in after rip

    Hi,

I would like to be able to encode to both flac and mp3 during the same ripping session.

I'd like to put the flac files in a folder called '..\flac\artist\album\....' and the mp3 files in another folder called '..\mp3\artist\album\...'

Is it possible to set dBPA to rip, then start flac, then start lame?

    TIA

    Henrik

Use the multi encoder utility codec.

so am i understanding this right, you only have to rip once & then dB will convert it to both formats?

i assume both formats will use the same source (the rip)? and the 2nd conversion wont be FLAC-to-mp3.

sounds like a huge time saver, i could have really used this earlier!

          Spoon,

It would be great IF the multi-encoder would allow 2 separate targets.

E.g. Flac output to one folder AND m4a to a separate folder.

          Thanks

The multi-encoder does allow separate paths, just set the path in the same window where you set up each encoder.
