Can not update

After downloading and installing the newer verison of the dbpoweramp music converter R12.1 I was then unable to configure it and error messages popped up when I try to install a new codec. I go to dMC configtion then windows says "searching" and that doesn't show up when I had the older version.

What error message popped-up? Do you mean that the computer cannot find "dBconfig.exe"? If that is so, you need to uninstall and reinstall dMC, as apparently your install was corrupted. You might even want to re-download your copy.
