When I select cdtext as an option under meta, then press the meta button, dbpoweramp crashes, and crashes every time I restart it. (the fix was to remove the cd, then unselect cdtext before putting in another cd)

Re: Crash on selecting meta with cd text selected
Possibly to do with the CD drive, if it crashes with a non cd text cd in, the cd drive is doing something wrong. -

Originally posted by LtDataI believe this problem occurs when you insert an "enhanced" CD, or a CD with both audio and a data track. Is this the case with you?
btw, I'm using a Sony DW-Q58A, UDS2 firmware, on 32-bit Vista (dell latitude D820 laptop).Last edited by TechVsLife; June 06, 2007, 04:26 PM.Comment

Re: Crash on selecting meta with cd text selected
considering that CD Text wasn't released as a standard until 1996, according to Wikipedia, apparently your CD drive has trouble with CD Text. It would probably be best to leave the option off unless you need it for a specific CD.Comment

I could try to test on other Cd drives.Comment
