    Reference Registration Questions

Just a question. Is the "Extended Download Service" requried? When I try and remove this from my shopping basket on the SWREG site it removes everything from my basket.

I have tried this in both Firefox 2.0.0.4 and IE 7.

Second, does the license allow installation on multiple computers? For instance, can I install it on my laptop and my desktop?

    Thanks,

    Mike G.

Try putting 0 in the item count.

For personal use yes, if the program is not to be used twice at the same time.

One way I found to get around the "extended download service" bug was to remove the extended download service, which as you said removed everything, and then re-add the package you want, which should now be by itself.

Thanks for the responses. I should have mentioned that I tried setting the quantity to 0 and it removed both items from the cart when doing this.

Looking at the source it fires and onChange event when the quantity is changed and for whatever reason their server sees that as reason to empty the cart.

What I finally ended up doing was to set the quantity to 0 for the extended download and it would reload the page with an empty cart. Then I hit the back button and it still shows the qty of 0 for the extended download. Without changing it again (so the event wouldn't fire) I hit the submit button and it displayed the correct amount in the cart. Note this method only worked in IE 7 and not in Firefox.

Oddly enough I've made other purchases through SWREG without difficulty, perhaps they've updated their code recently.

        Regards,

        Mike G.
