    [Version Choice]FLAC CD Ripping

Hi, I was wondering, if I want to encode all my CD collection in FLAC, do I have to buy dBpowerAMP Reference ?

    Thanks.

No, you do not need to buy Reference to use FLAC. The only codecs that require reference are mp2, BWF, and the Fraunhoefer mp3 encoder, I believe.

Ok ... so what does reference would offer me that the free converter wouldn't ?
More security and accurate ripping ?
