converting to AAC
May 28, 2007, 03:38 AM
There are 3 options in converting files to AAC. Quality, CBR, and ABR. What do these mean and what are the differences? Which is closest to VBR?
Thanks

Re: converting to AAC
See here for definitions of CBR and ABR:

As for VBR, the Quality settings make a VBR file, you choose the "quality" you want the file to be. The higher the quality, the larger the file.
