Hi, i have a strange conversion problem:
Some of the files (wav, cd track, mp3) which I convert to mp3 through dMC do not play at all on my mp3-player, personally
developed with Borland Delphi. Actually the player is running
but no sound comes out.
I've found a trick to make them play:
I reconvert them to wav, i crop the very first segment of the track
where there is still no sound, save back to wav, reconvert
them to mp3, et voilĂ ! everything is fine.
Most of the time faulty files are the first track of a CD.
this morning same bad behaviour happened with an mp3 file
coming from a friend, encoded by iTunes (Apple).
I play it: ok
i convert it again to mp3 via dMC: doesn't sound.
dMC-convert it to wav, crop the first few seconds, then reconvert
the cropped wav back to mp3: ok!
What can be the problem?
thanks,
alberto
I have the working mp3 original file, the not working
dMC-reencoded file, and the finally working
cropped-and-dMC-reencoded file.
I can put them on a CD and send it.
