DVD audio to mp3?

Hi I have a license for dbpowerAMP. Is there a way to copy the audio from a video DVD to mp3? My 1 year old has a DVD of songs that I would like to be able to play in her room on her mp3/cd player. Each chapter is a song. Thanks for the help.
