Converting multiple mp3 files to one

I was wanting to know how to convert multiple mp3 files to one large mp3 lame file? The only way ive found to do it, is burn all the files to a cd and then convert by "rip as one" in audio CD input...? Any ideas greatly appreciated....neon

If all mp3 have the same bitrate and frequency, you can try mp3merge http://mp3merge.netfirms.com/

Else convert them all to the same bitrate/frequency and then merge :D

Thanks Tigerman....Just what the doctor ordered. I herd and corral all the different mp3 files together using the mp3merge program you suggested. Then run that file thru dbpowerAmpConverter and then to the ipod. With over 400 albums worth of music on the ipod, I cant locate my ipod most of the time much less manage individual songs...Thanks again
