Latest codec bug fix?

I've used r12 to archive about 2,100 CDs so far, so obviously any FLAC "bug" scares me bad.

Can you please help me understand this message from the announcements?

The update include a bug fix for high frequency audio files (the sample rate might be read wrong).

Is there a way to check for files that have this problem? Would I know I had the problem when it happened or is there an unpleasant surprise waiting for me?

The bug was only with 96 KHz or 192 Khz and the decoded file would be 30274 Hz, so is obvious something is wrong.
