    Internal Converter DOS Window

Just downloaded and ran the ripper reference edition. I'm running Windows 98SE. When I rip to mp3 the the rip and encoding goes along ok then stops at 99%. When I manually close the internal convertor dos box, the encode is completed and a new dos box opens to rip/encode the next cut. I'm sure this should all happen automatically, without the manual intervention. Is this a bug? Something I can correct?

    Thanks,

    Re: Internal Converter DOS Window

It is Windows 98 that does not support the hiding of DOS windows with the createwindow method we are using. It is possible to create a hidden sub window and make a child of that, but was not done because of possible issues on later operating systems.

I think his question is why does he have to close the DOS window before the encoding finishes. Shouldn't it auto-close?
