Hi,
I purchased a licence for PowerPack a few years ago and understood that this gave me free upgrades for life. (This is taken from the PoerPack FAQs:
Q. I am a registered user of the Power Pack, how can I obtain the latest version?
A. Install the latest version of dBpowerAMP Music Converter will ensure that the Power Pack options are the latest, it is also ok to install a newer version of the unregistered power pack, you will keep your registered status, but will obtain any additions to the Power Pack (such as DSP Effects).)
I have the file dMC-r11-Registered and am trying to upgrade to version 12.1. However, when I install version 12 over version 11 I seem to lose my licence rights and I’m being asked to register again.
I lost the original email with the registration details a long time ago and anyway that was more than 2 years ago. I didn’t worry about keeping it because I trusted what the FAQ (quoted above) said.
It seems unreasonable (and against the previous commitment) to make me purchase another licence just because an e-mail has got lost or two years has expired.
I bought this licence in good faith believing I would get free upgrades for life. Can you please tell me what the solution is?
Many thanks.
