    Back to Power Pack

I upgraded to Reference from Power Pack but am having problems with the new installation. I changed the Options - Communication to Windows and that seemed to help, but some rips can take as long as 30 mins to complete while Power Pack never took this long. One track took over 10 mins to complete while doing a "re-rip". Today dbpa stopped working and needed to close several times.

Is it possible to reinstall the Power Pack version? I am not asking for a refund of any kind, I would just like to try Power Pack again to see if it is more stable on my system. I am using Vista Home Basic which may be part of the problem.

    Thanks.

If it takes a long time to rip then you have secure ripping selected, for fastest ripping select Burst Ripping. Install R12.2 from the beta section of this forum, and it will revert to a Power Pack.
