How to keep all tags when converting Flac into M4a?

    Hello,
I am a newby wih dbpowerAmb (r12.1, reference) and maybe the question will appear trivial, but...
I have got a huge collection of cd ripped in flac, with fully documented Tag (album, artist, album artist, album art, year, lyrics, etc.). I used dbamp to rip the CD, and Tag&Rename to complete the tags.
I am trying to convert the files into m4a (AAC Nero encoder) format. It works well with dbamp, but only some of the Tags are embedded in the m4a files (titl, artist, album, #track, year, genre, comment) while some are missing (album artist, lyrics, album art, #disk).
How can I do to get all the tags preserved during the conversion?
    Thanks.

Try the latest beta version of m4a in the beta section of this forum.

      Hello Spoon,
Thank you for the quick answer. I installed the latest beta version of the m4a codec (r6).
It slightly improves, with album art tag now preserves when converting, but many tags are still missing (e.g. disc#, album artist, lyrics, composer).
I tried also to convert Flac to MP3 (Lame 3.97), and the same problem occurs: some tags are kept during the conversion (title, artist, abum, album artist, year, genre, comment, album art, track#), some are lost (e.g. lyrics, composer).
Is it an issue with Flac TAG management, or T&R, or dbamp conversion? What could be the solution?
      Thanks.

Hold the mouse over a newly converted file, it should show all the tags if dbpoweramp is writing & reading correctly.

          Strange...
When waching at the tags after conversion with dbamp (mouse over, edit tag), all tags but "album artist" appear (including lyrics), and comment & lyrics tags are truncated (only the few first words) in m4a converted files. When converted into MP3, all tags are OK, but album artist still missing.
When I watch at the tags with T&R, lyrics and album artist tags are missing for both m4a and mp3 files; comment tag is OK for MP3 but truncated for m4a.

m4a tags can only be 255 characters long.

              Thanks, I missed that point.
Thus, I will probably convert my collection into mp3 and not m4a.
Howver, in converting with dbamp from Flac to mp3 (Lame), I loose the tag "album artist" (it does not show when holding the mouse, nor in dbamp tag editing, nor in T&R) . Any workaround ?

It shows in the popup in the FLAC file?

The album artist tag of the Flac file does not show in the popup, nor in the edit tag, but it shows in T&R and its shows in a mp3 file converted from the Flac with Easy CD-DA, but not in a mp3 file converted with dBamp. In iTunes, the Easy CD-DA mp3 file shows the album artist tags, but not the dBamp one.
