Can M4a be converted to wav format and if so how

Good Evening;
I have a bit of a problem for you. I have downloaded the M4a codec because I wanted to convert some songs I found in that format. I have installed it on dbPowerAmp, but when I open up the program to convert them. The songs are no where to be found nor is the codec. Can M4a codec be converted to wav format?

Specifically, regarding your version of dMC and where the files came from and what you wish to convert them to.

If you are trying to convert your m4a songs to WAV, yes, this can be done.
