cannot convert entire ASF File

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
I have been recording a 3 hour internet radio show every week and then converting ASF to MP3 using the Music Converter. the ASF file size is about 350 meg however the converter will only convert about two thirds of the show (a file size of around 260 meg) any idea what I am doing wrong?

PS I am using R12 on a vista machine. I have an older version (10 I think) that works fine on my old XP laptop.

Can Windows Media Player play the file to the end?

Try converting to wave, what happens?

Actually R12.2 (in beta) solved a lame encoder problem with large files, might be the ticket.
