Excuse my simple questions. I've started using Poweramp Reference version after using EAC for years. I'm trying to get my rips as accurate as possible (in EAC I used secure mode, so there was error correction.)
I can't see where I enable secure mode. Is this done automatically? My drive has been configured for accurate rip. But when I rip a cd I get either "not in accurate rip" or "accurate rip" by each track. I just ripped Bob Dylan's "Hard Rain," and on all tracks I got the "not in accurate rip" message. I suspect that a cd this common is in the database, so does this mean that my rip couldn't be confirmed as accurate? And if it's not confirmed as accurate (either because it doesn't match other rips, or the cd's not in the database) does secure mode kick in with some form of error correction, a la EAC?
Thanks in advance. I'm just trying to configure dbpoweramp to give me as accurate rips as possible.
