static after rip

I have set up DB PA just fine on Win98, Media player copies files fine. When I rip files, it seems to work fine, but there is underlying static on all the tracks..

Have you tried the Slow & Accurate rip option in Audio CD Input's option page?

What sort of CD drive do you have and how old is it?

On the options advanced page you need to try the other CD Command sets.
