trouble connecting to allmusic service

I bought dbpoweramp reference yesterday and have ripped about 50 cd's so far. Only 3 of them have been able to pull data from my newly activated year long trial to allmusic. I have disabled all firewalls, deactivated bitdefender (my anti virus) and made sure all ports were opened in my router. Can someone please help me make this thing work. Thank you.

What firewall(s) were you running? Some firewalls continue to interfere even when "disabled".

I had the vista firewall disabled already. Bitdefender has its own firewall which I disabled only after first making an exception for every .exe in the illustrate directory (which obviously didnt work either). Should I try uninstalling bitdefender to see if that is it? Thanks for you help.

edit: I uninstalled bitdefender and am reinstalling dbpoweramp, ill let you know how it goes

edit: Well I'll be a monkey's uncle! It works every time now. I dont think I can install the bitdefender suite without installing the firewall as well, and I cannot operate without my virus scanner in place. Are there no other files that need to be let through the firewall manually other than the exe's in the illustrate directory? If I disable bitdefenders firewall, then reboot with it disabled, might that work? Thanks again for your assistance.
