Hi,

I was wondering what the earliest year is of a CD that is in the AccurateRip key-disc database or AccurateRip database (so for example the year 1999 or some other year).

It depends on what users have submitted. I believe some CDs from the mid-90s are in the database, but I'm not sure.

so there is no way to actually see what is in the database?
Why can't there be written a very small program to search the online database?

What would the point be? there are 100,000's of cds in the database, browsing manually would not show anything.

Especially as knowing that a particular CD was present would not be an indication of what pressing it was.

sure it would show anything!
I didn't have to try EVERY cd, but just the ones with the title that is in the database and check those if they have the correct pressing. So now I'm trying every cd, even the ones that are not at all in the database.
