    You must have that product installed, and it must be bein used some how, we do not use it.

      i've never even heard of it until i noticed all the pop-up tags for the MP3s i just made were listed as being encoded with it.

      i opened up an mp3 in a hex editor and sure enough, they have the string "FairStars Audio Converter" in the header

      also, several other mp3s i've received from friends who use dMC have been tagged with this label.

      edit:

      these tracks are my own rips and i just double-checked the .WAV tags to make sure there wasn't any mention of fairstars...and there isn't. this tag came from nowhere.
