    Problem installing 12.1 reference

While running the new installer, I got a message indicating that the old version needed to be removed prior to installing the new. I choose to let the installer uninstall the previous version. When it completed the deinstallation it indicated that the computer needed to be rebooted and asked did I want that. I choose yes and the program fired off a reboot and then started the installation of the new version.

My system was not fast enough to complete the installation prior to the reboot it started. This fairly disconcerting.

Perhaps you should program this such that it doesn't fire off the installation if it fires off a reboot. This would allow fast rebooting systems like mine a chance to succeed...

After the reboot, reinstall, it will not be using the bits which were in use on the previous uninstall (hence the reboot required to delete them).
