aa file conversions

someone pls help me i have forgotten how to use the programme. i have aa files that i need to convert to lame mp3 and i cannot for the life of me get the extentions to work when double clicking on the programme. it askes me for the files but doesnt have all files show up. I hope i am making sense. i bought this programme cos it was the only one that converted aa files. the last time i did this was about 6 months ago ... someone pls help this dumb blonde
