R12 Registration goes to "page not found"

    Hi,

I submitted my order number, which worked, then typed in the string, which worked, then used the password at the next login prompt. However, it took me to :

    "The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

    Any tips?

It works just fine for me.

Are you running any security software? What firewall are you running? What browser are you using?

Hi and thanks for the quick reply.

I tried both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I have a router with a firewall, but my friend, who doesn't, and who is also a registered user, is also getting "page not found". Are you sure it's not just a bad link? If I try to download R11.5, from the same page, it works.

Aha, you are right, the r12.1 download link doesn't work. I will make Spoon aware of this.

Thanks - I also now have the problem that I've tried too many times and it won't let me try again! Is there any way reset this for registration number?

Spoon probably won't be on to be able to fix this until tomorrow, and I think the lock-out is temporary, so try again tomorrow, mabye?

Re: R12 Registration goes to "page not found"

The version I was trying to get was r12.5.

The one which is now offered is r12.

r12 has a later date than the r12 I tried in February.

But it still doesn't have the EQ and floating point normalization algorithms!

So I have to once again return to r11.5

                :headbang:

There is no r12.5, but there is a r12.1. Did you install the DSP effects? That will give you a graphical EQ.

What do you mean "floating point normalization"? If you mean volume normalization, this effect is in the DSP effects I mentioned above

The DSP effects can be found in the beta section of this forum.

Re: R12 Registration goes to "page not found"

Okay, I finally got it installed. Thanks!

b-b-b-b-but ... it seems to lose its settings after each conversion, setting the "Converting to:" field back to Wave. Is there some way to get it to default back to the last settings, like good old R11.5?

Never mind - it's all good now - thanks!
