I have ripped about 300 CDs and have had difficulty with only three, and two of the three are brand new dual discs. In fact, they are the only dual discs I've tried to rip. In both cases, the first four or five tracs rip accurately and later tracs won't rip securely.
Both disc jackets say "The audio side of this disc does not conform to CD specifications and therefore not all DVD and CD players will play the audio side of the disc."
My home audio system will play the CD (DVD player). My ripper is a Plextor PX716-UF.
Is this a DRM problem? One disc is Columbia and the other RCA/BMG.
Thanks,
Randy
