hi, im currently using R12 and it seems to work perfectly when converting mp3s to other formats but wma. I had WMA9pro codec but i upgraded to the WMA10pro because i thought it would work but no luck. It shows on the drop down list that i HAVE wma pro 10 codec, but it says "CODEC" there is nothing there. Also, its not showing anything where it says "target" ... etc. Anyway i was wondering if there was something you guys could help me with. Thanks in advance.

Re: wma to mp3 codec error
The dMC WMA codec installs the system codecs necessary for encoding/decoding, so I don't think WMP 11 is needed, noLt. Data

Re: wma to mp3 codec error
The title bar of the dMC window looks weird. Are you running a program similar to WindowBlinds? If so, try turning off the styles for dMC, this has been known to cause problems in the past.Lt. Data

Re: wma to mp3 codec error
i have the windowsblinds turn off completely now.
And yes, it does show the output file xyz.wma and also the source file xyz.mp3
but then when i press convert, i still get this very same message:
"Error converting to Windows Media Audio 10, 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Music\Unconverted\A_State_of_Trance_284__18-01-2007\Armin van Buuren presents - A State of Trance Episode 284.mp3' to 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Music\Unconverted\A_State_of_Trance_284__18-01-2007\Armin van Buuren presents - A State of Trance Episode 284.wma'
Error Creating WMA Profile. [clEncoder::BeginConversion]"
so thats what i get.Comment
